We have held Pool Corp (POOL) for quite some time, and it hasn’t been an easy ride lately. However, based on our analysis over the last two quarters (Q2 Review and Q3 Review), it appears that stabilization has finally arrived and the cyclical bottom has been reached.

Despite this, the market has punished the stock for its longer-than-anticipated recovery cycle. The share price has seen a continuous decline, resulting in a -35% return over the last year.

As investors hunting for mispriced opportunities, we are forced to ask a critical question:

Is there now enough margin of safety to justify shifting capital from our high-growth AI holdings into this ‘boring compounder’?
